WEBINAR OVERVIEW
The increasing focus on physician alignment has led many hospitals to develop a range of complex and creative physician financial arrangements. While these arrangements can improve care coordination and enhance a hospital's market position, hospital executives need to take steps to address a bewildering assortment of laws and regulations including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark restrictions and IRS private inurement prohibitions. A crucial consideration in developing these arrangements is how to illustrate Fair Market Value (FMV), which often requires input not only from legal counsel but also requires completing complex financial analyses. This webinar provides the hospital administrator or in-house legal counsel with workable guidelines for establishing when and how to assess FMV in a variety of hospital/physician arrangements, including those involving emergency call coverage, hospital-based specialty coverage, medical directorships, and hospital-employed physicians.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
