How will the market for alternative energy change in the short-term, as well as the long-term? What will be the best investment strategies? How will innovative progress define the market? Who will emerge as the leaders within this industry?

Alternative energy has been at the forefront of the national, as well as global, economic and political agendas. The new administration has proposed several enhancements to the current alternative energy program – it will pave the way for millions of new jobs and growth at an unprecedented rate. This is indeed a prime market for both investors and alternative energy companies.

While alternative energy is the answer to providing scalable energy that is cheap, available in abundance and has minimal environmental implications, it is nevertheless still growing and facing constant challenges within the market.

The Alternative Energy Congress will feature four key focal points that are pertinent to a successful business strategy within alternative energy: 1) financial opportunities within the market; 2) enhancement of marketing strategies and product development; 3) operational and design improvement strategies; and 4) implementation of new technologies. The final day will have an individualized focus on some key components of alternative energy – such as solar, wind, nuclear and biofuels.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
